Houston Texans Atop Super Bowl Odds Through Week 5

The Houston Texans and the Atlanta Falcons are the last remaining undefeated teams in the NFL in 2012, as each won on Sunday to improve to 5-0 on the year. The Arizona Cardinals were unbeaten going into the week, but dropped on Thursday night to St. Louis.

To be honest though, not many expected the Cardinals to remain undefeated for much longer.

As for Atlanta and Houston though, these teams look pretty darn good on both sides of the ball. But when it comes to Vegas, Super Bowl Futures are favoring the Texans to go to New Orleans and come away with the win.

The Texans are the favorites on the latest edition of Super Bowl Betting lines available at Bovada Sportsbook.

But to some surprise, the Falcons are not the team behind them. In fact, Atlanta is not even the team behind the team behind Houston.

The San Francisco 49ers and the New England Patriots are set behind the Texans before we see the Falcons.

A tad disrespectful?

Maybe not, considering the playoff performances of Atlanta in each of the last three seasons.

One and done.

San Francisco and New England are no slouches, as this was the leading candidate for the Super Bowl XLVII matchup to start the season. Oddsmakers are ready to let that go just yet, especially with San Francisco rebounding very nicely after the loss to Minnesota in Week 3.

Houston is going off at 4/1 to win the 2013 Super bowl, while San Francisco is just behind at 5/1. then we have New England at 11/2. Finally the falcons come into play as the fourth overall favorite, installed at 7/1.

The Baltimore Ravens round out the top-five favorites through five weeks, going off at 9/1 on the betting line.
