An Important Test For Indianapolis Colts On Thursday Night vs Jaguars

Coming into this season we thought that Andrew luck would be good for the Colts, but did we think that halfway through the season he would have them in contention for the playoffs?

Already, Indianapolis has four more wins than they did all of last season, and sit at 5-3 on the year just two games out of the AFC South and the best record in the conference.

It’s a short week going into Week 10 of the season for both the Colts, and the Jacksonville Jaguars, who will match up in Florida on Thursday night in prime time in a division battle.

Of course, things haven’t been going too well for the Jaguars, who are the worst offense in the league, and have just one win to their credit so far. Jacksonville ranks 32nd in the NFL in passing, good enough for last. And running the ball it isn’t much better, as they sport the 28th best rushing attack.

Needless to say, the Jaguars aren’t exactly striking fear into defensive coordinators game planning. It’s more the opposite, with defenses licking their chops at a chance to get after this Jacksonville offense.

This definitely has the potential to be an interesting Thursday Night Football match up though. We will get to see how Indianapolis handles their success. Going on the road and beating the teams that you are supposed to beat is the sign of a good team. If the Colts can handle this situation, they would move to 6-3 on the season, and right in the mix for a playoff spot.

Luck is looking like a top-tier quarterback, and not like a rookie at all. We knew replacing Manning wasn’t going to be easy, and Luck has relished the opportunity. We see what everyone was talking about as far has Luck’s skill-set and decision making, and it looks like he is only getting better each week.

As for Jacksonville, the season is already lost and the battle for the No.1 pick with Kansas City seems likely.

But who knows what could happen in this game. But all of the evidence is pointing to an Indianapolis win.
